I’m late with this message, not learning of your arrival until January. I would blame that on you Dad, except that I feel you wouldn’t like me laying it on him. I bet he’s “top banana” in your circle.
Your father has helped me regain the use of my legs and fixed a messed-up shoulder, while trying to educate me about the muscles involved. John is one of those people who does good and is good at what he does; he’ll probably have you on a balance beam in a couple of years.
While I haven’t met your mother, I’ve heard plenty about her from that person I was just talking about…he knows, no doubt, you are in superb hands at home.
I ordered your “welcome” gift and when it got here, I was not satisfied so I tried again. Therefore, you’re getting them both: The coins are old but one is very worn…you can call it Tarver. The other coin is sharp, crisp and very detailed…sort of like your Dad.
There is an old expression, “to the Manor born.” By the time you learn what that phrase means, you’ll know you did much better.
