U.S. Mint Sets

1947 to Date

Mint Sets are an excellent way to acquire all of the uncirculated regular issue coins for a particular year, as each set contains coins for each denomination from each mint. Each Mint Set that we offer is delivered in the original U.S. Mint packaging.

1947 through 1958: Each mint set contained 2 of each denomination from each mint, and the coins were housed in rigid cardboard sleeves, and delivered in a brown envelope.  Mint sets from 1964 and earlier contain a 90% silver dime, quarter and half.

1959 through 1998: The Mint Sets were housed in plastic sleeves in an envelope and contained one coin of each denomination from each mint.

1999 to date: The mint set coins are housed in bubble packs and contained one coin of each denomination from each mint.

What a terrific way to stash away all the regular issue coins for each year!
