Standing Liberty Quarters
Minted 1916 to 1930
The Standing Liberty Quarter is one of the most exquisitely designed American coin series of all time. It is a classic design in the Greco-Roman tradition. In 1916 and for part of 1917, Lady Liberty was bare-breasted, with no stars on the reverse. Later in the year 1917, chain mail was added to Lady Liberty and stars were placed under the eagle on the reverse, as America entered the Great War (WWI). There are many KEY dates in this coin series, one of the more exciting U.S. coin series to collect. Choose the grades and prices that work for you. Fill out or upgrade your set today.
