Minted 1892 to 1916
Barber Quarters derived their name from the name of the designer, Charles E. Barber, one of the most famous and prolific of all designers of U.S. coins. This series is so collectible, given the long run of dates and the fact that it was struck at so many Mints, including Philadelphia, Denver, New Orleans and San Francisco. This series saw tremendous use, resulting in the large majority of the mintage to be found in About Good to Good condition. Grades of Fine and higher command significant premiums, given their scarcity. Start a collection today, assembling either a date set or the entire series!
