Minted 1796 to 1807:This earliest Type depicted a small eagle on the reverse for the first 2 years, with the heraldic eagle on the reverse for the remainder of the series.
Minted 1809 to 1837: For this series, the bust of Lady Liberty is wearing a liberty cap. There are numerous die varieties, making this an interesting and challenging series to complete.
These communist banknotes are choice crisp and uncirculated. The notes feature a picture of smiling peasant workers on the reverse but the obverse has a large picture of the leader and the communist crest with star of course. A good buy for some interesting comments.
