Transitional Silver Mint Sets
Issued 1959 to 1964
The double Mint Set production (delivered in boards) ended in 1958, and these sets were replaced with a set containing a single coin for each denomination from each mint, housed in soft plastic sleeves, similar to the Proof Sets of that era. Each set contains a 90% Silver Dime, Quarter and Half Dollar. These sets are in great demand, especially from those looking for higher quality examples of the coins of that period.
