The 1939 Mercury Dime, minted in Philadelphia, is notable for being a late-series issue. Struck in 90% silver, it features the Winged Liberty Head design on the obverse, symbolizing freedom of thought, and a fasces with an olive branch on the reverse, symbolizing strength and peace.
I ordered a few coins for my collection to get it updated. All went well and the shipment came to me in decent time and packaged perfectly. The only issue was that one of the coins did not ship…it was marked as “backordered”, but when I ordered it, it was in stock, in theory. Not a big deal or anything—it can always be reordered. Just know something like that can happen. Otherwise, A++
