Honoring the native American, this series captured the hearts of the American public and also became a favorite among collectors. The series was struck only at the Philadelphia mint until 1908 and 1909, when coins were also struck at the San Francisco mint and the 'S' mintmark was placed on the bottom of the reverse. This was the first time a mintmark was placed on a US cent. Start assembling a complete set today, or add to your existing set, all at very favorable prices.
